Big rise in shorts, but not to a very meaningful level nonetheless.

Puzzling sell off, and there are many suspects as to the reason.  Deal has aborted, issues with qualification, or a dilutive financing coming.  Short attack?  Less likely, we just haven't had meaningful short volumes on this stock, notwithstanding talk over time about shorts.

If it's a financing, this is likely an overreaction, although the "financeers" may be trying to get themselves one hell of a deal.

I'd say better than 50/50 we will find out what's going on.
