I’ve done the same re-reading myself.  “we expect to remain engaged with DenseLight and its partner”,  you wouldn’t normally refer to Denselight’s new owner as Denselight’s partner would you?  To me, it  suggests there may be two major players involved, the Denselight buyer and a yet to be named partner, both with deep pockets working to scale up interposer product production and turn Denselight into “a world class manufacturer with global market reach”
