Dear Baba,
As you’re fishing for a Sula comment, I’ll take a bight at the bait and you no doubt, will strike with a suitable quip - how entertaining!
In my experience certain issues can only be resolved by the passage of time. Resolving our nervous feelings about this epic journey needs us to justify our extremely risky decisions to participate in this epic trek, this will largely come from gaining the financial rewards that we envisaged at the outset, which to date have proved to be mirages.
Every step of this long journey has been entirely necessary. Our big mistake has been to grossly underestimate the time needed for POET to leave the lab, to build a team, the infrastructure to create manufacturing processes and a commercial basis to sell POET products.
So Baba Its no surprise to me that we’ve nothing to say to each other; our funds have been spent, we have good team with a plan and a viable commercial product in the Interposer. Couple this with reasonable evidence that our product is highly marketable we should be quietly confident that our gamble now has a good chance of success. We should be confident but then that’s not how all humans behave, frankly all that’s left is for us to do really is to overcome our fear, spit in its face.
So yes Baba get a grip and stop frightening the troops with your doubts. After six or so years is 6 months more really that long? Frankly, we all need to take a break and just let this happen.
Go team POET.
