Great find InThisThinRain!!! To me, that indicates why POET has mentioned in their last presentation as to why they were accelerating into 400G. Afterall, we are in co-developement with Accelink. I'm beginning to think that the data centres are accelerating towards 400G much sooner than initially planned, because it can be done now- thanks to POET. With POET's interposer, even 999G speed can be extended further since they are speed agnostic. The lower manufacturing cost, speed agnostication, and other factors, like no need for lens, tuning, etc. are what makes POET so disruptive.

People may wonder why isn't anyone banging down the door and wanting to get in on POET as an investment or even to invest to accelerate their own R & D. Well, first of all POET is contractually bound to Accelink as a lead co-developer and probably non-disclosure on a whole array of things. As for those 13 companies humbling Suresh, probably similar situations with other independent developments that must all be on NDA. With the huge need for speed in data centres at a lower overall cost, it is no wonder why the veil of secrecy has gone on so long. Bits and pieces are coming out because we have astute foxes like InThisThinRain and others here finding relevant pieces of information that for premises for reasonable deductions by members of this forum. That is why this has been a great place. Thank you once again InThisThinRain, oz, fairchis, ranier et all.
