A lot of exuberance as of late including an upbeat article from an interview from Mr Mika.  However, I don't see where it is all justified, just yet.  Here is why:  the receive part is well on its way (but not 100%) but the transmit side is still "in the works" and even if/when that is complete do they not still have to put it all together (transmit/receiver/interpose) to have a full up transceiver?  In otherwords, there are two tech hurdles still to overcome.

This is very reminiscent of the GaAs situation of a couple years ago.  We had a green light on the receive side and a lot of upbeat messaging from management but eventually there was failiure on the transmit componant and the the whole "transceiver."

What saved our bacon was POET's tech pivot from GaAs to the interposer which fortunately they had at a formative stage of development.  I do not think there is such a pivot alternative this time.

Hoping for the best for all of us in the new year.
