What Cisco has is a huge global investment in silicon-based technology to extend. PoET still can help them extend that with lower manufacturing costs and speed agnostic opening the door to tremendous performance. With Luxtera they now bring in needed in-house expertise towards photonics. These people can be called upon to interpose with PoET- puns intended. That is my take and it is where PoET can take them beyond.
