Message: MOU

My personal opinion from the face to face discussion that Tombot, MS TB and I had at the Empire Club with Suresh and TM is that they wanted to keep it that way. As we know Chinese companies treat MOU's as firm contracts. Suresh was very firm on his view of this relationship. POET would get access to the capabilities within this company to identify and qualify products for Accelink customers. I suggested that the relationship provided a talking point to bring other companies to the table. Not the case at all. The relationship has benefited POETs path to commercial roll out and they don't need Accelink as a talking point to bring other leading companies to the table which has been proven by the deals they have struck to build new products:

The orders include sales and development contracts with a value in excess of $3-million (U.S.) ($3.9-million (Canadian)) to purchase current device prototypes, to develop and provide increasingly integrated optical engine components or to systematically address specific customer integration requirements under paid development programs.
