Rajan Rajgopal is the current President and General Manager of Denselight Semiconductors. A seasoned semiconductor professional with over 25 years of global corporate experience spanning Asia, Europe and US, in P&L management, quality, customer management, new product introduction and high volume manufacturing excellence, Rajan has lived in Singapore since 1995 and been part of the growth of the local semiconductor ecosystem. His 4 major employers have been TI (US), Chartered/GlobalFoundries (1995-2013 Singapore), Micron (2013-2015 Singapore), and DenseLight (2017-present Singapore). Rajan is an innovative and resourceful problem-solver with a demonstrated leadership track record. His previous 3 positions have been at VP level – Global Quality / Customer Enablement. With a passion for teambuilding and manufacturing excellence, Rajan has transformed global teams to collectively deliver world class quality and exceptional customer service levels in a high tech manufacturing environment. He completely re-engineered quality organisations for 2 world-class semiconductor manufacturers, and is currently applying end-to-end transformation to DenseLight. He executes on continuous improvement data and measurement of the results. Rajan holds a B. SEE from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.SEE from the University of Maine. He has also been awarded 4 patents and authored over 20 papers.
