In the roadmap, POET mentioned they would be entering a crowded 100G market, but they are not entering at the first generation. They are entering at the 2nd generation of the 100G market. Manufacturers under cost pressure and thinner margins are likely to turn to companies like POET to extend and fatten up their bottom line ---- great for POET in getting a stream of new customers in my speculation.

Then, knowing that POET is speed agnostic, they can co-develop now and help customers get a solid footing in the 400G market. So, it is here, that POET is ahead of the curve and that will attract money into POET (i.e. more co-development deals, etc.). Also, at the flick of a switch POET seems to be positioned to handle volume orders that they expect to come. So, the financial position of POET can change dramatically and very quickly.

POET mentioned today in a couple of developmental areas that they are 1 quarter ahead, so that's great. To me, this company is moving forward very fast and it will surprise eventually to the upside. They have attractive technology and they know the industry (various verticals) needs them.
