You said, "I feel the same way. Not sure why but we always seem to be 6-12 months away from the big bang. My fear is we are now pivoting yet again to 400g because 100g is saturated so that lead time could be another 18-24 months from now as they say it takes 6 months to test and this won't be ready till mid to late 2019.
This is a fear of mine... ".
When the second/third presentation of the company roadmap graphically showed where POET is to be at the 100G level and where they plan to be at the 400G level and when. Even at the 100G level, they are coming in at the industry standard next level to be current at that time while they push ahead of others at the 400G level presumably to lead at that technical level. POET can help 100G clients at the 2nd level have fatter profit margins and technical competiveness. So how many of those customers would likely co-develop in the next year or so towards the 400G level? To me, POET has maintained the expectations they gave us in their roadmap and they are doing just that. Hopefully, they will have as many big customers they can get to exceed future guidance. That is why I am invested.
