Job Objective and Scope
To program manage all aspects of a New Product Introduction (NPI) starting from design phase to manufacturing to testing to customer sampling that achieves the GTM (Go To Market) plan defined by the sales team. Key objectives will be to track milestones and each phase of the program and work with many different teams to ensure on time delivery of the program.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for managing NPI programs. This includes timely design, engineering prototype delivery, testing, successful ramp to production, resolution and closure of product issues.
Use project management systems to track all milestones in the NPI program with timely closed-loop responses to action items.
Develop and utilize procedures to effectively communicate with internal teams such as R&D, Product Integration, Fab process integration and Assembly and Test so as to mitigate exposure and proactively manage internal milestones.
Deliver to sales team the requisite samples as per GTM plan.
Requirements
Minimum Education: Degree in Engineering. Project Management/PMP would be plus.
Minimum Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in semiconductor engineering
