PoET's present position, provided the their platform survives the rigors of real world testing, is unique in it's potential to influence this oncoming interposer tsunami of photonic integration. Once established, and the ever increasing demand for data continues, that will eventually lead to single chip integration and, I suppose, ultimately, a cellulose based platform of neurotechnology for biological integration.
