Some stats for the last 3 months of trading

Today was the highest volume Friday and the highest price gain Friday over the last 3 months.

It was the second highest volume day and second highest price gain day in the last 3 months.

The highest volume day with the highest gains occurred on a Monday when the SVP of marketing was announced. The preceding Friday was a down day.

There have been twice as many up days on a Friday than there have been down or even days.

Conclusion there is a bias for Fridays to be up days with expectations that Mondays have a higher probability of news.

Myself I think the stock is seen as oversold and that the market is anticipating an update on the optical interposer. As we will recall the market reaction to the initial news of the optical interposer was a sharp spike followed by a reversal back down which then quickly turned around with a long run-up forcing the company to issue a statement to respond to the uptrend. Then of course the financing was announced and the news cycle went dry. Time for new news cycle that can be sustained.
