For what's its worth, here's my take on this whole thing.
- If Poet didn't think they would need any cash, why would they file the prospectus? Which leads me to the following
- One, they may (oops there's that word again !!) need cash knowing or expecting unforeseen delays in commercialization of a product or products, such delays may not necessarily be related to the product or products themselves and;
- Two, they may need further cash resources to support the known or expected demand for the product or products from Accelink and the other undisclosed customers.
So, I say pick your poison. Either you perceive this as an omen or you see this as a bright shining beacon of optimism.
It sure would be nice if the company were a little more receptive to communciations with its shareholders and the market at large. A little promotion with such a 'disruptive' opportunity certainly would warrant this, wouldn't it?
