Seeing an old stalwart make a bold decision to do what is entirely logical when over invested evokes admiration yet leaves me feeling sad, particularly at this point in Poet’s lifecycle I feel Junkers may have taken to the lifeboat too early.

My view is that there is every reason to read the facts emerging in a positive way without the hype that we were rather prone to indulge in on this board.  For anyone to have endured all the teetering angst of PTK’s hazardous route to take to the lifeboats Now baffles me at this ‘land ahoy!' moment. But the truth is we must all judge when and what is the right moment to act and for Junkers it’s now. I wish him Bonne voyage in his new venture, and respect for a sound principled decision to place his resources where he feels safe and free from his view of mismanagement.

Like my young handsome nephew, the not so oldGreg, I hold an entirely different view of our managements ability than Junkers, feeling they have have encountered hazards yet navigated around them rather well in the main.   For me even during the Coppetti years our CEO acted in shareholders best interests by recruiting effective managers who understood how to take an innovative technology out of the lab, where it could have easily lingered and died, to give it a reasonable chance to succeed was this not good management too.  There is clear evidence that his exuberant statements at that moment were made in the belief that he was about to land the deal of the century with Apple.  Clearly that did not happen as he envisaged but I still retain the notion that there may be still some POET connection there in their hidden developments on the basis that technical information was transferred between the two parties in the form of PDK which were the focus of work for signicant period at Stours.

I do hope you Fair well in your lifeboat Junkers but even more so with your remaining 10% of PTK which could yet make you a very wealth man.
