Breeze, if the results of the tests were known, then shouldn't they have been announced publically? I hope people aren't still thinking along the lines of "stealth" - that concept was around here far too long.
Perhaps the shorter test of 2,000 was done or nearly done, but there's a 5,000 hour test and my memory tells me that many here believe that won't be finished until late in the year.
It's great they got this guy Rich Z, who many of you seem to have heard about without ever having to read his CV. But Suresh is not trying to "signal" anything by the hire, except, "look, we anticipate success and need to be ready to immediatly take as full advantage as possible when we achieve it."
It appears he left his previous job a while back, so perhaps he needed a job and I'm confident he's well qualified, and likely thinks POET can be a big winner. I think it can be, too, and I don't know an iota about this tech. So, since I know nothing, would you assume I'm wrong in my conclusions about POET's ultimate success, cuz it's the same as what we figure is the conclusion of many if not all of management. Confusing, but as the board "shill," that's my job! LOL
