JOB DESCRIPTION

Lead technicians and operators to solve all line issues related to recipes and/or tools, and produce the wafers out of fab B meeting the manufacturing objectives.
 
  • Lead and manage the technicians and operators to ensure line issues are resolved timely to ensure that production outputs fulfil demand, yield and quality targets.
  • Enforce the discipline of the operators and technicians complying to company policy.
  • Manage the productivity of the operators and technicians.
  • Improve FAB B (Wafer Process) quality indices and systems such as Line Yield and Statistical Process Control.
  • Manage process change control.
  • Set up quality program for production and NPI projects, including the creation of control documentation, establishing process control and training of engineers.
  • Support Operations Director in ensuring production output meets planner's demand on schedule and meets yield & quality targets.
  • Apply state of the art techniques in the area of expertise to develop new processes, or improve products’ performance.
  • Take charge of material management to ensure no shortage of materials.
  • Take charge of inventory management to ensure all materials are visible and accountable.
  • Manage and update runsheet to ensure that corresponding production process flow is consistent and repeatable; and to provide clear instructions to enable operators and technicians could process wafers with understanding and make no mistakes.
  • Execute the improvement plans, which should cover comprehensively manufacturing processes, procedures, associated process validations, etc.
  • Improve process flow, part manufacturability, process capabilities with LEAN methodology.
  • Assist in the assessment and execution of reliability and process qualification of new process modules, including those by outsource FAB process vendors/suppliers, to enable new products’ qualification.
  • Prepare reports on analyses, findings, and project progress.
  • Upkeep all process design documentation
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
  • Participate in special projects as required.
  • Minimum Education-Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum Experience
    A minimum 3 years of experience in wafer fabrication process with some experience in manufacturing/process development, operations management in the field of photonics, semiconductors, telecommunications, company with similar or larger size and market capitalization.
     
    Specific Knowledge / Skills
    Able to manage operators and technicians
    Systematic in doing work and good in ensuring documentation and process consistency.
    Good problem solving skills
