If we're talking savings on power consumption - getting a piece of the crypto currency mining market would be huge. I have asked management about this and you can guess their response.

Recently, in the course of dealing with a video card issue for my Mac Pro, I learned that in the past couple years GPUs had spiked in price because of cryptocurrency mining. There is now an entire industry devoted to building and selling rackable systems designed to do nothing but mine cryptocurrencies (and a whole new vocaulary of lingo I don't speak to describe them).

There is probably a significant business opportunity for POET in this, perhaps in developing better GPUs for the companies that now produce them, after we put ourselves on the map for data center power savings.

BTW, Radeon is owned by AMD.
