I want to believe that shorting has an impact on the SP, but actually, it doesn’t.  When someone places a short order, that does not make the stock go down.  The only thing that makes the SP move is Bids vs Asks.  POET’s history has been (let’s be honest) very predictable.  (Yes, hindsight, I know).  

You see on this forum the phrase “burn the shorts” a lot, but for me, it’s a pretty smart strategy if you have the nerve.  I predict we’re entering a period where the markets are going to cool off significantly, and that shorting will become more common than holding a stock “long”.
