These are fun times.  There’s hope again.  We’re in the game.  And what game is bigger than tech right now?  It ain’t resources.  I look around my house...there are 2 smart TV’s, 4 I-Phones, 2 Ipads, 2 android tablets.  All of them are streaming content.  And we’re a pretty modest household.  

Streaming content is the present and future.  Traditional TV/cable is dying, we’re all connect to the cloud, GPS...you know the drill.  Our company identified the immediate need and then acted on it.  They pivoted and adapted.  While I was worried about the VCSEL’s 4th terminal and what felt like the end, they were already on a new path.  Thank goodness.  That would have been an awesome time to load up my position but I was honestly worried the end of our company was near.  

I was told once by a pretty influential guy in the tech world that any disruptive tech isn’t kept secret for long, and that paradigm shifts happen really quickly as companies try to maintain, protect or increase their market share.  One minute you’re innovating and developing, the next, you’re OBSOLETE.  And that’s why I get excited when I think about the problems POET is solving.
