Technically (another word for gut feeling), I thought this was a tremendously strong day coming directly on the heels of a tremendously weak day.  All of a sudden, POET is acting like the entire stock exchange, with violent and volatile shifts.  Getting our money's worth?

The potential is ripening.  Due to the awful financing of a year ago fall, we've been in the doldrums, something pretty strong is getting us out of those horse latitudes.  Not sure what.  But the potential that this company has, deserved a higher market cap than has been afforded it for the last 16 or so months. 

But, don't forget, many, many companies trade on potential, even seasoned companies trade on earning potential either for the next quarter or for the next several years.  Tech and especially biotech are very good examples.  To take the analogy a bit further, I feel like we're treating the last patient and awaiting phase 3 results.  We are surely well beyond phase 2.  Speculative?   Sure, but the price to be in with a chance has appropriately gone up!
