Hard to know what his role as "strategic advisor" for POET is, but connection remains as SEDI still lists him as an insider. He seems like the kind of guy who likes to finish what he starts (ie make in india), plus lets not forget his 3 million+ options to provide some financial incentive to help further the cause. Hopefully he is able to pursue some quiet work behind the scenes that doesn't interfere (or be in conflict) with his current duties at SEMI.
