Donald J. Listwin

Background

Mr. Donald J. Listwin, also known as Don, is an adviser to the Canadian development bank BDC and to cyber security company Bugcrowd. Mr. Listwin was a Venture Partner at Rally Ventures. He served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Clustrix, Inc. until September 2014. He has been one of most successful technology executives in Silicon Valley over the past 30 years. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Sana Security, Inc since April 2, 2007. Mr. Listwin focused on Sana Security's financing, formulating strategy and developing partner relationships. He served as the Chairman of Openwave Systems Inc (now known as Great Elm Capital Group, Inc.) from June 2001 to October 2002 and its Chief Executive Officer & President from November 2000 to November 4, 2004. He founded Canary Fund. He served as the President of @Motion. Mr. Listwin served as an Executive Vice President of Amteva Technologies, Inc. He was employed at Viavi Solutions Inc. and TIBCO Software Inc. He served as an Executive Vice President of Cisco Systems, Inc since May 1998. He held a variety of positions at Cisco Systems from 1990 to 2000, including Senior Vice President of Service Provider Line of Business from April 1997 to May 1998, Senior Vice President of IOS Development and Marketing from August 1996 to April 1997, Vice President and General Manager of Access Business Unit from September 1995 to August 1996 and Vice President of Marketing from September 1993 to September 1995. Mr. Listwin began his career in 1980 at Develcon, marketing data switching technology for the mini computer era. He founded Canary Foundation in 2004 and serves as its Chairman. He has been the Chairman at Calix Inc since July 2007 and has been its Director since January 2007. He serves as the Chairman of NetAid and GenoLogics, Inc. He has been a Director of Violin Memory, Inc. since December 2015. Mr. Listwin has been a Director of Clustrix, Inc since October 2010, PLUMgrid, Inc. since June 2013 and Teradici Corporation since December 21, 2010. He serves as a Director at Robin Systems, Inc., NetAid and MarketItRight.com, D-Wave Systems Inc., Joyent, Tibco, Redback, e-Tek and Stratos Bioscience. He serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle Washington. He served as the Chairman of Teradici Corporation until May 1, 2017. He served as the Chairman of Sana Security, Inc. He served as Vice Chairman of Openwave Systems Inc. until July 13, 2005. He served as a Director of Sana Security, Inc., and JDS Uniphase Corporation. Mr. Listwin served as a Director of Isilon Systems, Inc. since July 2010. He served as a Director of the Cellular Telecommunications and Internet Associations (CTIA). He serves as a consulting professor at Stanford University. He served on the Board of Scientific Advisors at National Cancer Institute. He has over 30 years of experience in building and leading multi-billion dollar, publicly-traded companies and has expertise in market development and operations for business technology companies. Mr. Listwin holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and an Honorary Doctorate of Law from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada.
