SCL Tender for the Supply, Installation & Commissioning of a Fully Automatic Wet Hood for etching wafers ranging in size up to a maximum 8” diameter.  Unit to be capable of fully automated processing of 50 8” wafers at a time.  IMO, this is a significant building block investment as SCL upgrades their facilities in anticipation of something....Whether this is connected to the recent Guernsey21 post about the tender for Epi-ready wafers for “POE Technology” 150mm GaAs wafers remains to be seen.

Note: I agree with other posters that ultimately, these indications of things happening on the tech side at SCL don’t matter at all to us if they don’t translate into what we are all looking for - increasing value of our investment.  In my postings on this thread I am only trying to determine if there is a logical connection between an ongoing build up of activity and infrastructure at SCL and the occasional findings of explicit hints of POET connections with SCL (Technology Transfer tender, Epi-ready wafer tender).  There may be no connection or there may be a direct connection.
