1)    Assist the development and execution of all FAB B Wafer Process (WP) engineering and development activities of optoelectronics and photonics integrated circuits to meet NPI design goals and requirements. Manufacturability of the processes must be considered.

2)    Set up quality program for NPI projects, including the creation of control documentation, and establishing process control.

3)    Improve FAB B WP quality indices and systems such as Line Yield and Statistical Process Control (SPC).  Monitor process performance through SPC, manage process change control, meet yield & quality targets.

4)    Support Operations in ensuring production output meets planner's demand and on schedule. 

5)    Assist in the assessment and execution of reliability and process qualification of new process modules for new products at outsource FAB process vendors/suppliers.

6)    Resolve any technical process issues encountered using 8D methodology.

7)    Prepare reports on analyses, findings, and project progress. Upkeep all process related documentation

8)    Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned. Participate in special projects as required.

9)    Proactively enhance relevant areas of expertise to enable developing new or improving processes.
