Waiting for the GaAs partner.
Not just any partner but one with a long view of up to 3 years, the financial means and a GaAs fab as presented during the AGM (as I recall). Co-incidentally conditions that would be met by the India RFP. I think we will know that outcome very soon.
A lot of promise for the foreseeable future. If the ROSA is available as presented in the documentation it will be a company maker in my opinion. As 100G WDM4 (QSFP form factor) transceiver market continues to grow as the go to optical link inside the datacenter. Costs are currently around $10/G and are predicted to reach $5/G over the next several years. Far from the end use customer target of $1/G.
So any ability to reduce costs with new innovation will be winner and the market is very large and continuing to grow.
The clip below has not been posted on this forum. I think it is a good one that is easy to listen to. Good interview with Michael Lebby.
