Well, your hope/assume premise on "like most manufacturing" might come into play if this was Henry Ford building model t's and the only variable was a blue one or a black one.
Im our case, fabs can constitute wafer building, chip testing and cutting, module/component and packages and they are build on different substrates, so running three shifts to make SLEDS for a limited market would seem to me, at least, to be somewhat counterproductive and a waste of resources while the dielectric platform sits idle.
We have had news, via the MD&A, the AGM and other presentations of expanded capabilities for more than a year now and what would appear to be an expanded head count to coincide. Again, JMO
