Yesterday I posted a question about Denselight's new DFB laser and noone replied:
Back in September Denseligh announced "High-Power 1310nm Distributed Feedback (DFB) Lasers for 100G Silicon Photonics Applications" and I wonder whether this product is competetive on the market. So when I googled I found out that NeoPhotonics announced a year ago "NeoPhotonics Introduces High Power DFB Lasers for 100G Silicon Photonics Applications". Can maybe someone with a deeper technical understanding than me explain, whether Denselight's product has any advantages compared to NeoPhotonic's product? (see also NeoPhotonics offers high-power non-hermetic DFB laser arrays for silicon photonics applications)
I would be very thankful, if one of you could answer my question! Thanks Ahasja
