I dunno, Mo, but if we don't know whether or not Poet actually submitted a bid (other than the unofficial assurances on this board), why would there be a requirement for an announcement of an extension?  Had Poet announced they'd submitted a bid, and indicated a decision date, then they may well be required to advise regarding an extension.
