Monolithic,

There are some negative poster/investors (shorts and longs), but I think more objective and realistic investors are often viewed as negative by the "positive" posters/readers of this forum.

I'd "venture" to say too much optimism early on (going back 5 or 6 years) cost many a very dear sum.  Some of us have been through these types of speculative investments many times, and have seen what can happen to the uninitiated - and initiation can be a very, very costly affair.

What I call overly optimistic posts have been offered up here for years (same as many other message boards).  For much of the time, those posts, irrespective of the good faith, knowledge and due diligence behind them, have turned out to be pretty much wrong.

If ever there was a time for optimism, I think it was a while back when the stock went to about .15 or .16 US.  It's done pretty good since then, and those who were optimistic at that point were right to be so.  The optimism continues for me, but it's guarded.  For me, share price movement like we've seen recently portends good things coming.  Things can always go wrong, but the risk/reward seems pretty good to me.

Finishing up whatever devices we intend to sell, and getting people to order lots of them, or to license the right to incorporate the tech, is what will really get things moving.  In the meantime, the stronger the stock, the better chance of that movement actually getting started.
