I know many long investors, including myself, have suffered enduring pain through all the hope we have in POET's technology. The company has come a very long way and it's coming out phase seems to be accelerating now. It is obvious that POET does not have its head in the sand anymore based upon the events listed in the title of this post. If POET felt it was not ready to present itself more to increase awareness of the company and to get the story out there, then they would not be a part of at least 2 out of 3 of the public events. The R & R event on Sept. 11th, they probably would have gone no matter what, even if they weren't as ready as they would like to be, because there is great exposure to get POET's story out there to the right kind of future investors.

Now, in the past, we all took it on the chin when POET mentioned they were going after platinum investors. Well, what were we, chopped liver? Suresh clarified that they wanted to get US investment and exposure. Even though, we all paid a great price, they saw the opportunity with R & R to get that. I wish they could have done that at 80 cents instead of 36 cents a share for the last financing. It was a mistake at that price, but hopefully they can make up ground and attract platinum interest in the company. They are trying and that would normally not be enough for me; but they also have InP platform products to release and accelerate revenue now, so some of the companies cylinders are still moving at a brisk pace, and what they are doing is becoming more tangible. Getting the clientele at R & R to understand POET better is a way to increase shareholder value outside of just releasing new products. This is an opportunity for POET to get positive momentum going for the company and its present shareholders. We all need a lift.
