The shareholders own POET. So if one is a large shareholder, then it reflects  on POET in terms of the shareholders confidence in the company. When large shareholders post publically on how they are skeptical towards management, it only feeds into the reasons why this company is at 25 cents or so.

Your reason is more broader and at least you show support as to why you are holding this stock based on its technology. I feel almost the same as you do, but I am not so harsh on management as I can understand or relate to the challenges that they have faced as a small company. I, too, believe that they have the technologies to make it in this industry. Eventually, our share price will reflect that.

So perhaps, mazan4, might really mean to say that he bought 500,000 shares as a large shareholder, and like management, he feels that POET is undervalued. Well, in that context I can understand that he does support this company very well. If the large shareholders are happy, then I am happy.
