I think you are missing a key point.

It was unlikely that any partner would engage POET for the GaAs development until the VCSEL was successfully demonstrated. This was a critical milestone. This milestone was only completed earlier this year.

Then there was the unexpected 4T issue that needed a work-around. That proof of concept was also just completed recently.

Only now could we reasonably expect a full blown partnership to be established.

And I believe that will happen very soon; I believe it will be cemented in POET becoming the successful bidder for the Indian RFP call.

Now this is just what I believe; and I could be wrong.

But this I can state categorically; good news or not "we will all know within an approximate timeframe of 30-60 days."
