This is an interesting article which shows how intel is overcoming the difficulties encountered in keeping Moore's law going.
Vast resources have been thrown into achieving this in a new chip series titled Penryn. I wonder if the name derives from Penrhyn Castle here in North Wales?
More importantly I am left wondering how a POET processor would perform against Intel's new chip it certainly would cost far less to develop than appears to have been spent overcoming the difficulties in developing Penryn.
