Chris Chu posts interesting thoughts on the POET Technologies Facebook page.. To the effect that in micro cap tech companies there's a danger in focussing only on the Technology. Management's capacity to succeed is key to success.

Breaking into the supply chain via the BB DenseLight acquisition was a shrewd management move, it's success will be critical to the future of PTI as it will demonstrate the capacity and capability oF PTI management that will give the credibility needed to attract investment, much as Chris says.  I don't imagine we'll see much movement in SP untill signs of the signs of success in the InP venture emerge.

What is now clear is that on the GaAs front we must expect a joint venture or partnership to be announced to move the AOC forward and I wonder if that's what the Industrial Announcement at CLEO on 1Aug is about.

Whilst we regularly hear condemnation of PTI management here, I believe that our key management coupled with the proven ability of the BOD has the ability and character to push PTI along the risky road to success. For those who don't, pushing to change management noe would kill what momentum has been made disastrously.

Judging PTI management on SP movement alone in the turbulent tech micro cap venture market is shortsighted and a gross misrepresentation of their abilities which were demonstrated at the AGM if you care to listen with an open mind.
