"Remember a bird in the hand as opposed to a bird in the bush."  C'mon, FJ, the saying refers to two birds in the bush, and in our case, it was more like 40 birds in the bush.  So, I can't go along here, we were after far, far bigger game.  But, hey, if they can sell their new products, I'm good with that.  This has always been speculative (still is), so the fact that they may never make it work or not make it work in time, is just not that big of a shock, other than to the pocketbook.

"What is new is the successful development of the InP photonic dielectric platform with costs savings which are disruptive."  When are we going to disassociate the word "disruptive" with POET?  Not sure they deserve that association right about now.  I guess they kept referring to Ben Crenshaw as "Young Ben Crenshaw" even when he was no longer particularly young for a professional golfer.

"What was said today in the AGM was exactly the understanding that I thought most of us had here?"  You can't really believe that, FJ.  I've had the suspicion that GaAs wasn't working out for quite some time, as I've posted, but you go too far.  Today was devastated for many.  I was very disappointed, but not hugely surprised.

Bottom line, I have already placed a buy order for tomorrow am, and it's not a stink bid.  The new stuff may work out well for us, and get us at least even.
