That's very kind of you to say.so Andech.

My views attract a certain amount of derision.which I ignore but not without a degree of emotional discomfort.

I believe there is no doubt that Apple took a careful look at what was in the POET box of tricks in 2015. The TRAB,, which in its loosest sense, demonstrates Apple interest in PTI developments continued possibly until late 2016. A VP procurement of Apple, Tony Blevins, maintained a watching brief.

The link could have been broken permanently yes,  but I doubt it given their earlier interest, the detectors performance and the POET VCSEL viability it's not difficult to imagine that Apple is quite happy talking to AM or having built a relationship with SV they continue to be briefed but not formerly.  They clearly need what we have and now we know PTI cannot do it alone, in the words of .'Ghost Buster's 'Who we gonna call'.

The reality is Apple is the only major entity we know PTI to have had an association with.

I get asked to drop this or labeled an idiot but from my point of view many are ignoring the biggest clues to who might have been the partner that gets referred to so often.  It may not have gone as PC thought it would develop but it's rational to believe that PCs NASDAQ in June statement was because he thought Apple involvement was in the bag.
