Lethargic-: With all due respect Rainer, you, Fairchi and more 'sunny days' posters almost always post opinions when you are talking about some facts, so let's not have a double-standard on this board. I healthy discussion should include dissenting facts and opinions.
Opinions are okay as long as they are based on facts. A post should give the "community" something to chew on. Otherwise it would only waste the time of everyone who has clicked on "next message". (I am including "I agree" posts here, and that's why I rarely post that I agree to something, even if I do. That's what recommendations are for.)
And an opinion does not need to be "true". Well, if it were true, it were no longer an opinion but a fact. However, an opinion should at least be somewhat realistic. For example, an opinion could try to shed light on a fact, a circumstance, or another opinion from a different angle. Oh, and it should be constructive.
