Despite my optimism my short and medium term concern has always been more dilution. There are only a few ways for us not to get diluted too much any more. One is NREs and the other is bought deals at a much higher share price. That can happen if management has something significant ready that the market can grasp, and whatever that is can justify a higher share price with some dilution. That thought is a stretch, but it is possible, i.e. some entity in the wings that is ready to come forward now because they and POET agree that now is that time. One reality is that we all know that one day someone will move in, if POET is worth it to them, and grab a significant block of shares. In that instant, dilution is okay if our market cap goes substantially higher as a result of any deals.
But in the meantime, I have to be somewhat skeptical that Mr. Mika might be going to the trough again and this kind of dilution is no good, unless ..... (he has something special and meaningful for investors to chew on).
