Message: One Man's Opinion at this Point in Time

Hi Everyone,

I cannot sign onto the Letter as written at this point.  The letter is very well composed and expresses the sediments of many on this Forum.  For me, I still have the utmost confidence in our Board of Directors.  That said, my confidence is not shaken by the SP or the lack of communication.   I believe Suresh and the BoD are acting in our best interest.  A lot of unknowns now but the only thing I can think of to explain our current policies is we must be sitting on something big.  Given the nature of POET, if it is big, it must be very big.  Some of our potential customers and partners in this industry require complete stealth, aka non-disclosures.  I think most of us want the same thing, the success of POET within a reasonable amount of time.  Our roadmap has been set forth and we generally seem to be hitting our milestones, not an easy task given we are blazing a new trail.  Our management team is very experienced and in my opinion very trustworthy so I leave the strategic decisions to them.  Second guessing decisions without sufficient information is an exercise in futility.  I don't know why the SRP wasn't addressed, but I don't think management is trying to do anything to hurt shareholders.  After all, they do have a judiciary responsibility to act in shareholders best interest.  I do have an open mind.  If the letter said " Interested to find out why SRP was left out", or "wasn't addressed" I might have signed on.  Good luck to all and I look forward to the AGM coming up.  It should be very interesting.  Nice that is will be webcast.  Above opinions are mine, not meant to influence or irritate just trying to be honest.  :)  BT
