Last week, there was conjecture here over the links between POET & AAPL. This article is about their growing mountain of off-shore cash and what they might do with it.

What I didn't know was that Apple rarely spends much on individual acquisitions. (3B was their highest). For the most part, it's 100's of millions on small companies who are easy to manage.
