Aves: 'thank god you only got 13 recs on this go back to your sailboat and drink scotch'

How kind Aves, a stiff whisky on board Sula would be a great pleasure. Though I'm not sure what aspect of my post got you riled .

Lets get back on topic. Don't you think that at the end of the day, whether POET'S IP is a success or not is principally down to the funding plan.

There must be such a plan in existence that's mapping out what's needed financially to get PTI to the point where they can commercialise a POET product - P DAY. The Management have concluded that they cannot do it without revenue income from DL.  They thought DL was up to the job, but not so it would appear,  it needed a big cash injection and restructuring.  The delays created a greater imperative to get DL on a good path and precipitated a panicked PO. This cost existing shareholders a dilution and gave a gift to new investors, an unintentional gift, but a gift nonetheless less.  But, ultimately lets face it the PO kept this project from potential failure.

I am sure we are on a much stronger footing now and DL is looking much more up for the job expected of it,  but I am left wondering about why late 2018 is now given for revenue from AOC.  This seems a long way out to me given that concurrent activity would have been happening whilst the epitaxial iteratios were taking place.

Personally I feel there's another reason behind the late 2018 date.  Possibly partner driven. I have some theories but I would not want to upset Aves further by waving my pom poms.
