Message: Progress with the VCSEL

I like todays statements "First cycle of optimization complete" and "Significant optimization completed on a Thyristor and Transistor based integrated VCSEL stack", much better than "in order to enable electrical pumping of the VCSEL, the team has had to redesign some aspects of the epitaxial stack" from August 10th, 2016.

Presentation looks reasonably professional, aside from slide 23 (bold is mine) "Embedded Dielectrics provide a path to Multi-wavelength functions in a singe chip". Where is that proof reader!

Certainly still a lot of questions, but I am happy there has been progress on the VCSEL. No news with POET certainly does not usually equate to good news, so I was somewhat concerned about what was happening with the VCSEL, and the silence about it. I feel better about the VCSEL now. Hopefully progress continues (and accelerates) and they get a prototype real soon. Then sign up some customers and get the horrendous SP back on track.
