Shash, that would actually be a third possibility, because I sketched only two, i.e. what I believe to be the two extremes. Your scenario is even more extreme and pessimistic than mine and I have to admit that the abstract's wording to the letter unfortunately won't rule out yours.

Let's hope reality will be better than that. :-)
