Interesting read, lumenge, thanks! I peeked into Galdino's original paper and I tend to agree with former posters that POET might have advantages here. And since the transceiver noise interferes nonlinearly with the signal, lower power should be advantageous in this regard, because lower power means lower noise.
However, as I said, I just had a quick look into the paper, so my statement might be premature. Not enough time these days …
