Disco, I believe you and Jack look at the whole POET experience from very different perspectives.

You primarily look at the tech side and what may be; he looks primarily at the stock price and what needs to be.

Your view is great, and your perspective is shared by many of the really sharp techies plus the optimistic sorts.  The sharp techies also can appreciate your posts far more than I.

But his side is quite valid, too.  The fact he trades the stock is pretty much irrelevant, as I don't believe anything he writes affects the share price in any meaningul way.

I think POET is buidling a fine business, the question is, will they hit the homer with the disruptive component of their business.  Before the mergers, the disruptive component was a huge percentage of what they had going.  Now, it appears that a profitable company, although not a game changer company is in the works.  The share price based on that direction alone is far more modest than what has been aspired to by many here for such a long time.

What we all want is the homerun, confirmation that our disruptive tech is commercially feasible.  The hope there is that that alone will make the share price soar, and it might well do just that.  Because the disruptive tech is something that everyone will want and want now, and it can be licensed and leveraged, etc.  The DL/BB end or things will hopefully get our share price moving, albeit modestly, at the point where the trauma of that awful offering can finally be put behind us.  But that takes time (or fantastic news).
