Hi SHV,
I am attending the SPIE Show this Wednesday only, as I have work and will take that day off to attend. I wish I had more time available but not so. In fact, I have been very busy completing my projects to make attending the Show possible. I got a haircut yesterday so I'm good to go. (at least I think so). Also, oz4m2, great music selection for the morning, thanks for that as well as the info-link for NECSEL, a very innovative company using green, red and blue lasers (RGB). (lots of good stuff from you oz4m2. I find your perspective enlightening). The highly prized green laser light can be produced with GaN, as well as GaAs, I think the GaN is a more direct process and used for great LEDs too. We just acquired some of the best guys in the GaN field to our staff in Singapore. Rajan Rajgopal comes to mind as outstanding, but the rest appear to be excellent as well. And BTW, I view the "streamlining" of our Denselight as highly positive. We have Applied Materials guys maxing out our production facility, and the acquisition of key personnel and equipment seem to point to a clear step towards commercialization. Of course my opinion only but it makes me optimistic. Like BCD, a gut feeling. Cheers. PS, After the Show, it may take me a couple/few days to compile my notes so please bear with me. I'm still a working guy. I'll try my best. Sayonara
