This is exactly the type of response I expected to read. I disagree with it completely (I obviously don't disagree with anyone within POET creating "shareholder value" but that term tends to pop up when we are deep in the red and need to find some silver lining).

Dr Suresh Venkatesan is our CEO, he's the former Senior VP  of Technology Development at GLOBALFOUNDRIES. People will listen to him. He needs to get out there and drum up some interest. That topic title, "Realizing gains in energy efficiency, component cost and size-reduction through photonic integrated solutions" sounds very promising.  Hopefully we have something concrete to bring to the show and he can shake some hands and come out with a few contracts (a guy can dream can't he?).
