What I say is this:

What do large mega-cap companies need in order to maintain their market dominance? When industry sectors are saturated with already presumably efficient business models and little room for new organic growth in an industry segment or sub-segment, then manufacturers have to find ways to lower costs to improve profit margins on already established products. The second point is that such new innovations can also lead to newer ideas and a new industry segments or sub-segments where such large mega-cap companies can diversify their opportunities with minimal risk.  I believe that POET does bring that to the table.

I hope that in 2017 POET management does a much better job at selling that concept to business analysts and, of course, support that with prototypes and NREs so that the real number-crunching and sustainable share price appreciation can begin and take hold. I expect results and no hype. I demand results now that any previous set-backs seem to have been addressed. If POET is indeed now in control of its own destiny, then having such control now should make huge differences. There is no more time for excuses and only room for results now in 2017.
