Ark99isback: It has less to do with whether the science is sound or not and more to do with whether it is commercially viable or not. Entirely different.

A crucial part of the commercial viability has already been proven by demonstrating the POET process can be used for mass-production in the foundry. The final step would be to have something they can produce in quantities and actually sell.
